COFIL fuji ceramic coffee filter
COFIL filters feature numerous holes that measure only 50 microns in size. This removes unwanted scents or impurities that are contained in the water. Due to its infrared ray technology, it makes coffee and alcohol mellow and easy to drink.

● No paper filter necessary, reusable, and easy to clean.

● Can be used to purify water of chlorine, odor, and other impurities.

(Does not have disinfection/antibacterial properties)

Usage Instructions

● How to make delicious coffee Course or medium ground coffee beans are recommended. 1. Place the filter server carefully onto the cup, then set the filter. Put ground coffee beans into the filter. 2. Slowly pour hot water into filter and make sure none is spilled. Let the steam go for about 30 seconds as the coffee ground absorb the water. 3. When it is well steamed, slowly pour the hot water out the center and make sure not to break the edge. 4. Remove the filter when the right amount of coffee is reached. ● Other ways of use ・Water 　This filter can remove impurities and soften water. ・Tea 　Filtering ready-made teas will cause the taste to become mellower. ・Alcohol 　This filter can be used with various types of alcohol such as sake, shochu, or whiskey. By using this filter, it will cause the alcoholic beverage to become mellower and easy to drink. ● How to care for COFIL 1. With proper care, this filter can be used for a very long time. Rinse with tap water as soon as possible after use. Boiling water will clear the passage for smoother and easier use. *Avoid using detergents. 2. Debris and oil may cause the filter flow to clog over a long period of time. If this occurs, simply boil the filter for about 10 minutes and wash accordingly. For better flow, we recommend to boil the filter regularly. 3. For a better clean, use baking soda in water and boil for about 10 minutes. ※1-2 tbsp. per liter of water. Adjust accordingly. ※ Make sure to dissolve baking soda in water first. Adding baking soda directly to hot water is very dangerous, for it will cause bubbling and hot water to spill. ※ If you are using baking soda, be sure to use a stainless steel pot, for aluminum pots with darken. ※ Please note that fine powders cannot be used directly into filter, for it may cause clogging to occur.
